Our children who are placed through this program include those who have been diagnosed with one of the following:

Cerebral Palsy · Epilepsy · Mental Challenges · Down Syndrome · Autism

Inner Circle contracts with the North Los Angeles County Regional Center to secure cooperative placements for these children in the homes of Inner Circle's specially trained "Professional Parents". This is a wonderful opportunity to help children in need, work cooperatively with their biological families, all the while helping a child reach their personal potential and maintain their sense of dignity.

Inner Circle provides comprehensive support and generous stipends to help reimburse our Professional Parents for the cost of providing care for these children.

Each week, nationwide, 27 children die at the hands of their parents.

Nationwide, every 10 seconds, another allegation of child abuse is made.

In Los Angeles County alone, there are 28,000 children under the watchful eye of the Department of Children and Family Services.

Over 24,000 children are living not with their parents but in "out-of home care." About have of those kids are living with relatives, and the other half are in group homes or foster care. (LA Times, June 3, 2005)

Los Angeles County accounts for 1/3 of the entire state of California’s foster child population.
