Inner Circle Foster Care & Adoption Services trains foster parents and places abused, neglected, and abandoned children in foster homes.

The 2009 Golf Classic was a wonderful event that took place at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana on an unusually brilliant, sunny day on November 2, 2009. Amy and John Dacey hosted the tournament that brought people together for great golf, great food, gaiety, and laughter. The generous participation of the guests and local businesses resulted in Inner Circle exceeding its fund raising goal of $30,000. Knowing the economic climate has put such a strain on most donations, it was delightful to have the community give so generously.

Each week, nationwide, 27 children die at the hands of their parents.

Nationwide, every 10 seconds, another allegation of child abuse is made.

In Los Angeles County alone, there are 28,000 children under the watchful eye of the Department of Children and Family Services.

Over 24,000 children are living not with their parents but in "out-of home care." About have of those kids are living with relatives, and the other half are in group homes or foster care. (LA Times, June 3, 2005)

Los Angeles County accounts for 1/3 of the entire state of California’s foster child population.
