Inner Circle Foster Care and Adoption Services proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Golf Classic at La Canada Flintridge Country Club on Monday, October 16, 2006. We are so proud to announce that we raised over $27,000.00. My sincerest hope is that you will partner with us in our 2007 fundraising campaign as we look to raise funds that will help us continue to grow and expand our services.

Each year, in Los Angeles County alone, thousands of children are removed from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, and/or neglect. These children enter the foster care system, hopefully temporarily, until the Dependency Court officials determine that it is safe for them to return home to their families. However, the goal of reunification is not always a viable option and for these children the goal then becomes adoption.

Inner Circle, founded in 1991, is a state licensed non-profit organization that certifies quality foster and adoptive homes in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys. Thus far, we have provided homes for over 1300 children, age infant to 18 years. Inner Circle is also a counseling provider for the State of California, Victims of Crime program.

As yearly costs continue to rise, Inner Circle is forced to work more creatively to maintain our high standards of care. Proceeds from the Golf Classic, our major fundraising campaign, will allow us to continue our work while adding new programs to address the increasing needs of our community.
